On April 14, the 2023 Xiamen International MICE Week kicked off in Xiamen. As one of the important events of the 2023 Xiamen International MICE Week, the 2023 Xiamen International MICE Cooperation Forum was held on the morning of April 15. The forum hosted a signing ceremony, with a total of 15 projects being signed on-site. This year is crucial for the full recovery of the MICE industry. Currently, Xiamen is comprehensively promoting the high-quality development of the MICE industry, including actively building an international professional MICE platform with industry-leading capabilities and steadily advancing infrastructure construction. In the second half of this year, the fifth phase of the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center on the island and the 300,000-square-meter Xiamen International Expo Center in Xiang'an off the island will be put into operation. This will lead to the formation of three major MICE clusters: Siming District's Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, Xiang'an District's Eastern Sports Exhibition New Town, and Huli District's Wuyuan Bay Baixiang Exhibition Center, significantly elevating Xiamen's exhibition and conference capabilities.
