Project of The Chinese Academy of Sciences launched in Xiamen Science and Technology City

On April 7, the "Research Institute of Low-Density Microspheres and their Composites" project, developed by the Institute of Physical and Chemical Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was officially launched in Xiamen Science City. The research team at the "Low-Density Microsphere and its Composite Materials Research Institute" is a formidable force, having dedicated years of research accumulation to the development of high-performance hollow glass microspheres and localized solid buoyancy materials. These innovations are a testament to their independent ingenuity and are instrumental in supporting the nation's growth. Furthermore, the team holds international advanced independent intellectual property rights in this field. Xiamen Science City's "Three Valleys" and the first incubator have successfully attracted 12 new research and development institutions and public technology service platforms. In addition, over 1,400 enterprises of various types have been registered, making it a thriving hub for innovation and technology.
