The Xiamen City Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held on the 29th, bringing together numerous top scientists, well-known entrepreneurs, and representatives of national-level scientific research institutions from both China and abroad. A number of major science and technology innovation projects were signed, launched, and unveiled at the event. The highly anticipated "Xiamen Science and Technology Innovation Leadership Project Implementation Plan" was officially released at the conference. The unveiling and commissioning of the Marine High-tech Industrial Park, Xiamen Science City (Beijing) Innovation Achievement Cultivation Base, and other projects were also announced. Over ten supporting events, including the Xiamen Alumni Economic Alliance Members Conference, were held in tandem. Xiamen's achievements in science and innovation have been significant, with the latest data showing that the city is home to 3,607 national-level high-tech enterprises. In the World Intellectual Property Organization's "Global Innovation Index 2022," Xiamen's rankings in the "technology cluster" and "technology intensity" categories broke into the top 100 cities worldwide for the first time.
