The new energy industry has achieved explosive growth and has become a "strong engine" driving industrial growth in Xiamen since last year. The output value of Xiamen's new energy industry increased by more than 40% last year, and projects such as the CALB Phase III and HITHIUM Phase II completed annual investments of over 500 million yuan. Leading companies in various segments have demonstrated the strength of Xiamen enterprises in the domestic new energy field. HITHIUM had the largest number of Chinese power storage battery delivery projects in 2022 and the fastest growth rate in the output of Chinese energy storage batteries. XTC's lithium cobalt oxide shipment volume has remained the world's first. Last year, the production and installation volume of power batteries in Xiamen increased by 150% and 98% year-on-year, respectively. From January to November 2022, the output value of Xiamen's new energy industry reached 54.43 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41.8%.
