In June 2022, Xiamen Port opened the first "Silk Road Shipping and Trading" e-commerce express route in China, creating a new, fast shipping channel for cross-border e-commerce customers. Through the "Silk Road Shipping and Trading" e-commerce express route, goods can be easily accessed in the integrated free trade zone with fast customs clearance, seamless transit, and efficient shipping. Up to now, the container throughput of "Silk Road Shipping and Trading" e-commerce express route has exceeded 20,000 TEUs, with a total cargo value of more than RMB 8 billion. So far, the number of "Silk Road Shipping and Trading" routes has reached 94, covering 7 ports, including Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Guangzhou, and Qinzhou, and extending to 108 ports in 31 countries and regions.
