On February 10, Xiamen City launched the first cross-border e-commerce special regional export overseas warehouse retail business, marking the official commencement of this new business model in Xiamen. Under this model, domestic enterprises export goods to special areas through general trade, complete cargo handling and consolidation in the special areas, then export to overseas warehouses in bulk via the "1210" (cross-border e-commerce special area export overseas warehouse) mode, and then retail the goods from those overseas warehouses to overseas consumers through e-commerce platforms. This model can help e-commerce enterprises take full advantage of the "Tax Rebate Upon Entry" policy in the Xiamen Xiangyu Free Trade Zone, thus speeding up capital turnover and relieving business pressure. Simultaneously, it can provide smooth export and return channels to ensure that the e-commerce goods can be returned, thereby removing the concerns of enterprises.
