Recently, the Several Measures of Xiamen to Promote the High-quality Development of International Air Passenger Transport have been implemented, which is valid until December 31, 2025. The new policy will forcefully ramp up Xiamen's air passenger transport and consolidate its position as an international comprehensive transportation hub city. After the Measures are enacted, more air routes will be opened from Xiamen Airport to other Asian countries or continents, especially countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" and BRICS nations. It will not only benefit the improvement of the business environment and the recovery of the transportation and tourism industries, but also lay a solid foundation for smoothly transferring air passenger transport to the Xiang'an Airport.
