In 2022, Xiamen witnessed stable and healthy development of economic and social performance, represented by a gross domestic product (GDP) of RMB 780.27 billion, up by 4.4%, with a growth speed higher than the national average by 1.4 percentage points. The three industries grew by 1.4%, 3.8%, and 4.7% respectively, with a structural ratio of 0.4:41.4:58.2. Main economic indicators maintain a stably progressive momentum. In 2022, Xiamen ranked first among 15 similar cities nationwide in terms of GDP growth speed, and its economic aggregate accomplished a whole new position among them.
