On January 18, the China Unicom (Xiamen) Academy of Industrial Internet was officially inaugurated, concurrently alongside the strategic cooperation signing ceremonies between the Academy and the Institute of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things under the China Academy of Telecommunication Research of MIIT, as well as between China Unicom (Xiamen) and Xiamen Torch Group Co., Ltd. In the next step, all stakeholders will, by means of innovative research in the industrial Internet, commit themselves to intelligent manufacturing based on innovative applications of industrial Internet, build a platform of think tanks for the digital transformation of industrial enterprises, promote the integrated development of the industry, academic institutions, and research institutes, and help Xiamen lead in the new landscape of intelligent manufacturing.
