On January 2, 2023, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) officially took effect in Indonesia. By then, China had implemented RCEP in 13 of the 14 members. The RCEP policy has continuously exerted a beneficial impact since its validation one year ago. During the past year, Xiamen has actively helped enterprises seize the opportunity of RCEP. In 2022, Xiamen issued 13,070 RCEP certificates of origin for exporters to Xiamen-based enterprises, involving an amount of 784 million yuan and expecting a tariff diminution of more than 48 million yuan as an importing country; issued 724 RCEP certificates of origin for importers with a tariff diminution of 13.1783 million yuan. The total tariff reduced for Xiamen-based enterprises amounts to about 61.17 million yuan.
