At 13:04, January 9, Xiamen Tech No.1 Satellite was successfully launched at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. It will form an effective network with "Xiamen Tianwei Tech No.1" pilot satellite that had entered the orbit earlier to complement each other in terms of functions. In particular, the spectral resolution of satellite remote sensing will be significantly improved. After being launched, Xiamen Tech No.1 Satellite will be applied in Xiamen city services such as smart ocean, smart agriculture, emergency management, natural resources, meteorology, and smart city to provide massive remote sensing data for Xiamen, boosting the industrial upgrade and high-quality development of the city.
