On November 25, the Collaborative Innovation Base for Cardiovascular Health Industry ("the Base") was officially inaugurated at the 2022 Xiamen Cardiovascular Healthcare Industry Innovation Forum. The first batch of 4 settling enterprises all signed contracts with Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital and Xiamen Torch Biomedical Incubator. This marked the addition of another innovation platform in Xiamen's biomedical industry. The Base will be guided by the integration of medical and industrial innovation and the industrialization of scientific research accomplishments, as it aims to launch collaborative innovation cooperations, public platform services, connected industrial investment promotions, technology-based company incubation, matchmaking between capitals and fund seekers, and academic forums. Likewise, the Base will also seize the opportunity for international talents and technology exchange and cooperation initiated by the BRICS Innovation Base. This will highlight the distinct features of "BRICS" while encouraging domestic innovative products to "go global".
