On November 15, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce held a press conference on "Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce's Measures to Promote Opening up". The list of the first batch of 8 Class A international enterprises in 2022 and the second batch of Xiamen's independent foreign trade brands were announced at the press conference. This is the first place in China to establish an enterprise internationalization standard evaluation system, as it has also introduced substantial support policies to boost the internationalization of these enterprises. In addition, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce is working with the Management Committee of Xiamen Area to build an investment project headquarters operation service center for the Belt and Road Initiative and "BRICS+" countries, to provide a package of services and policy support for overseas projects, including legal services. The signing and unveiling ceremony of Xiamen Liaison Office for Overseas Investment & Trade was also held at the press conference. This will assist the city's enterprises to further expand into the international market and bridge two-way investment.
