After completing China's first carbon sequestration transaction for the marine fishery industry, the state-level marine ranching blue carbon transaction, and other projects, Xiamen Property Rights Transaction Center has recently completed the first 2000T verified carbon standard (VCS) transaction among BRICS nations, including 1065 tons of carbon transacted by Brazil and 935 by India. Carbon transactions are used as a bond to build a new platform and new system for BRICS nations to cooperate and exchange with each other in Xiamen. Xiamen Property Rights Transaction Center spares no effort to build an ecosystem of BRICS-related supporting services around the "BRICS + Dual Carbon".
