Xiamen has constantly improved its business environment in recent years. Now, its business environment has entered Stage 5.0 featuring an "intellectually-empowered business environment and digitally-driven update", creating the new advantage with system innovation at its core. From 2018 to 2020, Xiamen came out in front in the national appraisal of business environment for three consecutive years, being rated as the "national benchmark" in all the 18 level-one indicators and ranking among top 10 nationwide in 14 indicators. In the first three quarters of this year, 132,000 new market entities registered in Xiamen, a net increase of 79,000.
