China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) sets off from Maluan Bay New Town for the first time

On the morning of October 24, the China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) set off from the railway yard of Maluan Bay New Town to Hamburg, Germany, more than 10,000 kilometers away. It was loaded with 50 containers of solar brackets, liquid crystal displays, clothing apparel, and other Chinese-made products. This is the first pilot China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) train in operation from the Qianchang Railway freight yard, signaling that the China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) has ushered in a new milestone in Maluan Bay New Town. In the future, the China-Europe Railway Express will be officially transferred to the Qianchang Railway Station for departures. The China-Europe Railway Express Platform was one of the key platforms projects that Xiamen city put forth efforts to construct. So far, the China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) has maintained three international freight routes from Xiamen to Europe, Central Asia and Russia respectively, linking more than 30 cities in 12 countries. As of September 30 this year, the China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) has dispatched 1,182 trains, carrying 98,276 TEUs, with a cargo value exceeding 31 billion yuan.
