Since 2021, Xiamen has consecutively debuted a swathe of policies to support the high-quality development of the logistics industry. The city of Xiamen has issued its 14th Five-Year Plan for the development of a modernized logistics industry. The plan aims to focus on the implementation of seven key projects, with an initial goal of Xiamen becoming an international logistics hub city by the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan. This plan includes the following projects: One, implementation of infrastructure projects; Two, implementation of cold chain logistics projects; Three, implementation of urban and rural courier and distribution projects; Four, implementation of smart logistics projects; Five, implementation of green logistics projects; Six, the implementation of supply chain innovation and application projects; Seven, the implementation of emergency support logistics projects. During the 14th Five-Year Plan, the construction of such an international logistics hub will be realized through the following aspects: First, further optimization of the hub's utilization and spatial layout; Second, optimization of the hub's collection and distribution system; Third, promotion of the construction of logistics channelling lines; Fourth, acceleration of the digitalization of the logistics hub; Fifth, reinforcement of the investment of industrial projects.
