Xiamen Xiangyu Bonded Area tops the national list in development performance evaluation

Recently, the General Administration of Customs announced the results of the development performance evaluation of 137 Special Customs Supervision Zones (SCSZs) across the country in 2021. Xiamen Xiangyu Bonded Area garnered first place in the country for its development quality and performance. Xiamen Xiangyu Bonded Area and Xiamen Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Area respectively ranked number one and two on the list of Special Customs Supervision Zones of the Fujian Province, according to the results of the performance evaluation of the General Administration of Customs in 2021. Xiamen Xiangyu Bonded Area was established on October 15, 1992 under the approval of the State Council; it is one of China's first Special Customs Supervision Zones (SCSZs). From January to August in 2022, the zone's first-line imports and exports amassed 65.3 billion yuan, an increase of 47 percent over the same period of the previous year.
