On September 11, the 22nd China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) wrapped up successfully. At the Signing Ceremony of Fujian Key Investment Projects at CIFIT, Xiamen delegation inked 14 projects worth 30.66 billion yuan, topping the province both in number of projects and total investment. This year's CIFIT saw Xiamen hit a record high in size with 21 contracted foreign-funded projects valued at 2.31 billion US dollars as proposed foreign investment, up 9.6% year-on-year. 6 foreign-funded projects were signed on-site with a total planned investment of 11.7 billion yuan, covering fields such as flat panel display, digital economy, trade and retail, park operation, and finance. Five of the projects each involves an investment of more than 500 million yuan. Meanwhile, Xiamen equipped the exhibition hall with metaverse, VR, AR and other high-tech means to show the investment environment of Xiamen in multiple dimensions. The metaverse display results in the Xiamen exhibition hall will be presented on the website and WeChat official account of "Invest Xiamen" to make a pioneering online presentation of the metaverse space of Xiamen's key industrial parks nationwide, thus further advancing Xiamen's efforts in investment promotion in a scientific and technological way.
