Recently, Xiamen has announced the Several Measures for Establishing A Legal Service Mechanism of Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District for BRICS Nations, which proposes to establish "a special zone for BRICS legal affairs" and promote the opening-up of Xiamen. The Measures covers 10 measures, including the establishment of a legal service expert library for BRICS nations, selection of public services for legal service institutions of BRICS nations, provision of legal service training for BRICS nations, and establishment of extraterritorial law search platform for BRICS nations. Among them, the mission of establishing a legal service expert library will vest in Xiamen. In addition, it will also establish a legal service center and service stations for BRICS nations, compile an investment law manual for BRICS nations, build up a research and communication system, jointly set up a matchmaking platform of industrial projects, and carry out promotion and publicity with joint efforts.
