According to the latest data from Xiamen Bureau of Statistics, Xiamen witnessed stable growth in the investment of fixed assets amounting to 160.246 billion yuan, up by 10.5%, from January to June this year. The growth rate of investment in construction, installation, and industry kept leading the province. The effort of stabilizing investment and growth saw an outstanding result. In the first half year, Xiamen had 669 newly registered projects, up by 82.3%. The total investment in newly added projects amounted to 129.024 billion yuan, growing 2 folds. In the first half year, there were more than 712 projects under construction in the city with a planned investment exceeding 100 million yuan, significantly represented by Tianma's 6th generation production line, the BRICS intelligent manufacturing industrial park in Tongxiang High-tech City, and the new airport of Xiamen. In the first half year, the paid investment in construction and installation reached 71.446 billion yuan, up by 21.6%. The paid investment in the industry reached 29.468 billion yuan, up by 29.2%.
