At the recently held Chinese Government Procurement Summit cum the Chinese Government Procurement Awarding Ceremony 2021, Xiamen was granted the excellence award for the optimized business environment for governmental procurement. For years, Xiamen has been improving the business environment for governmental procurement and has ranked top in terms of the business environment for two years. In 2021, Xiamen released a series of policies to improve the business environment. Besides, Xiamen is the first in Fujian to make public its procurement intentions, and has ranked top three in China in terms of procurement transparency for two years. Not long ago, Xiamen was rated as the provincial benchmark for its governmental procurement indicators when Fujian Development and Reform Commission was supervising and instructing the business environment work for nine cities and one area in the province in 2021. Xiamen still maintained its No.1 position in the province.
