According to the “China Institutional Innovation Index for Free Trade Zone Pilot Areas 2021-2022”, Xiamen Free Trade Zone harvests a remarkable result of the 5th position in China, marking the second time Xiamen FTZ has made in top 5 on the list. The Institutional Innovation Index carries out systematic assessment mainly based on “governmental function transform”, “trade facilitation”, “investment liberalization”, “financial revolution and innovation”, and “law-based environment”. By now, Xiamen FTZ has issued 513 new measures in total, including 111 ones taking the initiative in China. Five classic cases are rated as best practices of FTZs in China.
