June 27 marks the 6th "Micro-, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises Day" (MSME Day) designated by the United Nations, and also the publication of the Evaluation Report of Development Environment of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Fujian 2021. According to the Evaluation Report, the comprehensive score on the development environment of SMEs of Fujian in 2021 is 62.81, up by 2.75 points over 2020, maintaining a general upward trend. Xiamen, ranked No.1 on the list, has 5 indicators topping the chart out of all the 7 first-level indicators. The Evaluation Report also specifies advanced practices of all listed cities in support of SMEs to develop, such as intensifying the financial and tax support for SMEs. Xiamen has integrated the industrial investment and funding system to transform the traditional subsidies into market-based equity investment.
