On the afternoon of June 15, the government of Xiang'an District and Beijing Kingsoft Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. held the strategic cooperation signing ceremony for a digital city. Beijing Kingsoft Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. will register a cloud computing service company in Xiang'an District as its business operation headquarters in Southeast China. Both parties will build the "Lucky Cloud" base as the infrastructure for Xiang'an in its efforts to build a digital city. The purpose is to cultivate emerging digital technology industries such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and blockchain. Founded in 2012, Beijing Kingsoft Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. seizes a secure position as one of China's top-three public cloud and Internet-cloud service providers. It was listed on Nasdaq in May 2020 with its global business network covering many countries and regions across the globe. This partnership between Kingsoft Cloud and Xiang'an District government marks the beginning of Xiaomi-affiliated enterprises' settlement in Xiamen.
