China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) adds new lines

On June 4, a batch of containers from Kaohsiung, Taiwan were shipped to Russia by the C&D train of China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen). This train is the first rail-sea intermodal line of China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) departing from Taiwan, passing by Xiamen, and arriving at St. Petersburg. According to estimation, compared with full sea transportation, it saves nearly half of the transportation time by shipping cargoes from Taiwan to Xiamen and transporting them to Russia through the China-Europe Railway Express. This fully embodies the outstanding business environment of the Xiamen Free Trade Zone and the unique advantage of China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) in terms of rail-sea intermodal transportation. By now, China-Europe Railway Express (Xiamen) has started three main lines from Xiamen to Hamburg, from Xiamen to Central Asia, and from Xiamen to Russia, which provide premium logistic solutions and services to connect the cargo passage from Taiwan and other places in Southeast Asia to Inner Eurasia.
