In order to deepen reform of the household registration system, improve the household transfer policy of Xiamen, raise the threshold for settlement, smoothen settlement channels, and attract more talents to seek jobs in Xiamen, Xiamen government has recently promulgated the Notice of Xiamen Municipal People's Government on Deepening the Reform of the Household Registration System and Improving the Household Transfer Policy. The Notice will officially take effect on June 1. The Notice lifts the limit for the settlement of advanced exemplary figures, high-level talents, and highly-skillful talents commended or recognized at the provincial level or higher, and broadens the settlement conditions for graduates and other university graduates of higher levels. Besides, the Notice adds channels for part-time postgraduates and part-time doctoral graduates to settle down in Xiamen.
