Recently, Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (Tianma) revealed that the Tianma 8.6-generation new display production line with a total investment of RMB 33 billion has entered the implementation stage. By now, Tianma has invested up to RMB 100 billion in Xiamen. This project includes an 8.6-generation new LCD display production line with a capacity of 120,000 2,250mm×2,600mm glass substrates. Now, Tianma already secured the world's largest market share in LTPS mobile phone panels, LCD perforated screens for mobile phones, and vehicle-mounted displays. In the future, Tianma will keep establishing an industrial presence and developing forward-looking technologies, play its role as a leading company, and help Xiamen build an industrial highground for new displays.
