BRICS Nation Occupational Skill Contest kicks off

The BRICS Nation Occupational Skill Contest will kick off in Xiamen in November. As the first session of occupational skill contests under the framework of BRICS nations in which China serves as the presidency, this contest is benchmarked with the WorldSkills Competition and has set up 20-odd competition categories such as machine learning, big data, and web technologies, focusing on high-end manufacturing, digital economy, new industries, new business activities, and new technologies. It aims to enrich the exchanges and cooperation among vocational colleges and enterprises in five BRICS nations and facilitate the cultivation of international, high-caliber, and skillful talents for these nations. Thousands of contestants from BRICS nations will compete both online and offline.
