Xiamen's business environment indicators have topped Fujian for three consecutive years, as monitored by Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission. Last year, Xiamen implemented 262 key tasks to improve the business environment; the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District (MSRCLD) started to operate officially; efforts were continued to build Xiamen into a credit demonstration city; its enterprise vitality and growth led the province. Numerous innovative practices for improving the business environment were recognized by national and provincial authorities. Those practices include the locally enacted and implemented Regulations of Xiamen Special Economic Zone for Improving the Business Environment, and the appointment of Xiamen Business Environment Day on November 1 each year, etc.
