Xiamen released new criteria for evaluating and recognizing high-caliber talents

Recently, Xiamen released the High-caliber Talent Evaluation and Recognition Criteria (2022), which took effect on January 1 this year. More authoritative, accessible, and pragmatic, the Criteria appropriately lowered the annual salary requirements of corporate talents to 4 times that of the social average, pulling down the threshold of talent application, expanding the scope of high-caliber talent recognition, and encouraging talent employers to grow into state-level leading high-tech enterprises. First released in 2019, the Criteria categorize talents into genres including major industries, social science and civil undertaking for evaluation purposes. Now, a total of 1,888 high-caliber talents have been recognized in three batches, including 4 of Class A+, 64 of Class A, 418 of Class B, and 1,402 of Class C.
