On February 7, Xiamen commenced the construction of 27 major projects in the first quarter of 2022. The total investment of the projects involved in this centralized commencement amounts to 36.4 billion yuan, with an annual planned investment of around 6.7 billion yuan. Those projects cover industries, infrastructure, social utilities and other areas, including 9 industrial projects with a total investment of 12.4 billion yuan; 15 infrastructure projects with a total investment of 14.4 billion yuan; and 3 social utility projects with a total investment of 9.6 billion yuan. As the representative project of Xiamen, the phase III project of CALB Xiamen (first stage) is the third-phase lithium battery project of China Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. (CALB) settled down in Xiamen. After the project is completed and the expected output is reached, it is anticipated to add 8 billion yuan of output value annually, making the Xiamen base the most productive base of CALB.
