In 2021, Xiamen introduced 796 high-ranking talents and 70,529 graduate students, making its talent pool size reach a new record of 1.39 million. Xiamen also won the title of "China's Most Attractive City for Talent" in the China's Best Employer Award 202. Last July, Xiamen further intensified efforts of talent attracting by releasing six major policies in living subsidies, housing, children education, and spouse settlement. Now 16,000 talents have passed the examination. In 2021, Xiamen introduced 1,821 overseas talents, with a YOY increase of 8%.
