From January to September, Xiamen achieved a total retailing sales of 195.753 billion yuan in consumer products, up by 17.2%, the highest growth rate in the province. Enterprises above the prescribed scale achieved an offline commodity retailing sales of 64.671 billion yuan, up by 17.9%, pushing up the total retailing sales of consumer goods by 5.9 percentage points. The automobile market had made significant contributions. Automotive enterprises above the prescribed scale achieved a commodity retailing sales of 28.138 billion yuan, up by 17.,1% YOY and pushing up the total retailing sales of consumer goods by 2.5%. The sales revenues of new-energy vehicles increased by 111%. Upgraded consumption registered new growth, including home decoration, apparel, cosmetics, cultural and sports, household electric appliance and other sectors.
