The final of 2021 Contest of Promoting BRICS Cooperation in Industrial Innovation kicked off on September 6 at Xiamen International Conference Hotel. Themed "innovative development for a shared future" and featuring digitalization, networking, smart technologies, and green industries, the contest focuses on industrial-Internet-based intelligent manufacturing, green recycling, and low carbon sectors to showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative application outcomes in the new Industrial Revolution. Since its start in July, the contest has solicited 1199 projects from key industrial enterprises, industrial departments, industry and information technology departments, scientific research institutions, and universities in BRICS countries. After the expert review, 88 projects entered the 6-day final, covering sectors like 5G, digital twin, industry and Internet, intelligent manufacturing, energy-saving and low carbon, and skills.
