Fortune magazine released last week its annual list of China's 500 largest firms by annual revenue based on annual reports disclosed by stock exchange-listed companies. This year's list includes five Xiamen-based enterprises -- Xiamen C&D, the Xiamen Xiangyu Company, the Xiamen International Trade Group, the Xiamen Xinde Company and the Shengtun Mining Group. Xiamen C&D entered the top 30 for the first time. Both Xiamen Xiangyu and Xiamen International Trade Group ranked in the top 50 on the list.
