The 2021 Xiamen Job Fair for Overseas Returnees kicked off at Huihe Academy on the morning of May 23. The event released a total of 1,266 high-level talent positions demanded by 269 entities including key enterprises and institutions, universities and scientific research institutes in Xiamen, with annual salaries ranging from a minimum of 200,000 yuan to a maximum of 960,000 yuan. The event attracted 80 enterprises to recruit on site, including ANTA, JOMOO, Zijin Mining, Powerlong, Septwolves, Solux, ABB, Industrial Securities, CICC Wealth Management Securities, Huaxia Eye Hospital, Longma Environmental Sanitation, and Xianglu Group, and 180 talents studying abroad participated in the recruitment event. Among the overseas returnees who sought jobs at the scene on that day, nearly 70% had a master's degree, with the financial industry accounting for the most, up to 18%; nearly 60% had work experience of 1-3 years, and more than 40% had studied in the United Kingdom and the United States.
