A strategic cooperation agreement was concluded on the morning of May 18 between Xiamen International Cruise Homeport Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xiamen State-owned Capital Operation Co., Ltd., and Sunac Culture & Tourism Group. Taking Gaoqi fishing port as the first pilot project in this cooperation, the two sides aim to turn it into an entertainment port through comprehensive upgrade. An innovative model integrating business and tourism will be created to infuse the traditional port and wharf with urban entertainment and leisure elements and trendy life joy, making this port a high-quality global tourism destination on the basis of traditional sightseeing tourism. The two sides will also cooperate on commercial projects like a cruise center and a new terminal.
