During the fourth edition of Digital China Building Summit in Fuzhou last week, the Fujian provincial government and central government-owned enterprises jointly hosted a forum on project cooperation, at which 11 central enterprise projects based in Xiamen signed contracts with a total investment of 45.6 billion yuan. The number of projects and total investment both lead in the province, covering the fields of aviation industry, new materials, new infrastructure, headquarters economy, new retail, service trade, and medicine circulation. From 2019 through 2020, there were over 80 central enterprise projects signed at the Xiamen municipal level with a total investment of about 346 billion yuan. So far, 47 projects have been implemented with the total investment of 110.6 billion yuan. On April 26, eight Xiamen based major digital economy projects with a total investment of 11.5 billion yuan participated in a centralized signing event of Fujian province. The involved industries cover semiconductor and integrated circuits, cloud computing, big data, etc.
