Xiamen keeps yielding heartening fruits in the high-quality development of the marine economy. Another leading marine enterprise went public, highlighting the vitality of Xiamen's marine emerging economy; a Xiamen enterprise came up with solution to shrimp seedling disease, thereby raising the domestic market share of "Xiamen shrimp seedlings"; Xiamen Democratic League Marine Research and Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation Base was officially unveiled, to quicken the transformation of scientific research and patent achievements. This year, Xiamen will speed up the pace of building it into an international marine economy demonstration zone and a marine economy innovation and development demonstration city. In addition, progress will be pushed forward towards the construction of "two ports and one park", implementation of the 68 contracted projects, and planning of forming new marine investment projects. Xiamen is also driving the transformation and upgrading of modern fisheries, deepening the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries, and quickening the construction of a marine central city with international characteristics.
