March 2 witnessed a concentrated commencement of the major provincial projects of Q1 2021 via video link. Among them, there are 30 projects in Xiamen with a total investment of about 23.8 billion yuan, including 10 industrial projects, 7 infrastructure projects and 13 social and livelihood projects. The construction began at the site of CALB Xiamen Phase II project in Xiang'an District. This 5-billion-yuan-worth project proposes to build a highly intelligent and environmentally friendly industrial base of power lithium battery and power system. Besides the 30 provincial projects under centralized construction, there were 72 municipal projects costing more than 20 million yuan commenced in Xiamen in the first quarter, with a total investment of 34.2 billion yuan, covering fields of industry, infrastructure and social livelihood.
