In 2020, the above-scale industrial output of Torch High-tech Zone totaled 301.16 billion yuan. The added value of industry reached 75.75 billion yuan, up by 7% on a YOY basis and ranking the 16th among 169 national high-tech zones in China. In 2020, 1,259 projects were completed in the Zone with a total investment of 176.9 billion yuan; 25 high energy level projects were launched; and 3 billion yuan of foreign capital was actually utilized. The number of enterprises with high technology, high growth rate, and high added value totaled 937, seeing an increase of 105 enterprises over that of last year. The investment in 18 key province-level projects topped 19.13 billion yuan, over-fulfilling the annual plan by 40.3 percent. Four national enterprise technology centers were newly established, accounting for 57.1% of the province total and 100% of the city.
