On the afternoon of December 2, the vessel "LILA BHUM" of Thailand's Regional Container Lines berthed at Haitian Terminal on the Port of Dongdu, marking the official opening of the route from the Port of Xiamen to the Port of Songkhla in Thailand. This is the 32nd Southeast Asia route operated by Xiamen Port, which gave a continuous boost to the "Belt and Road" initiative. From January to November this year, there have been 1,932 voyages on 51 routes named "Silk Road Shipping" opened at Xiamen Port, handling 1,855,500 TEU of container throughput, up 1.06% year-on-year.
