January to October this year witnessed an added value of 155.905 billion yuan in Xiamen's industries above designated size, a year-on-year growth of 3.5%. Among the 35 major industrial industries in the city, 16 have achieved growth, with a growth area of 45.7%. From January to October, 1,201 of the city's 2,338 industrial enterprises above designated size have increased production, of which 144 have increased the output value by more than 100 million yuan. During this period from January to October, the 10-billion-yuan manufacturing industrial chain increased to 8, namely industrial chains of flat panel display, computer and communication equipment, automobile, agricultural and sideline products and food processing, power transmission and distribution and control equipment, plumbing and kitchen and sanitation, LED, tobacco processing and sales.
