The 33rd China Film Golden Rooster Awards Film Concert and Opening Ceremony was held at Bailuzhou Sunken Square on the evening of November 25, attended by more than 1,400 people. Wang Ning, deputy secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and governor of Fujian Province, said in his speech that 2020 marks the beginning of the Golden Rooster Awards' resume to annual holding and its permanent settlement in Xiamen, as well as the 40th anniversary of Xiamen Special Economic Zone. It is of great significance to hold this high-level and high-caliber film art event. The 1st China Film Investment Conference Summit Forum was also held on the same day, attracting the attendance of many well-known filmmakers and investors. During the conference, a signing ceremony was held for 32 projects of Xiamen film and television industry, totaling an investment of about 19.6 billion yuan. This year's Golden Rooster Awards will last until the 28th, and it consists of such main events as the film concert, film exhibition, film academic activity, nominee commendation ceremony, and awarding ceremony.
