The 33rd China Golden Rooster Awards will be held from November 25 to 28 in Xiamen. 2020 marks the beginning of the long-term settlement of Golden Rooster Awards in Xiamen. It is a major national cultural event held on the occasion of 40th anniversary of Xiamen Special Economic Zone. Xiamen will adhere to the positioning of "professionalism, internationalization, marketization and normalization" to build a film festival and boost the construction of Xiamen as a "city of film and television". It will feature five main events to look forward to: film theme concert; film festival activities such as the 2020 Golden Rooster Domestic Film Festival, the 2020 Golden Rooster International Film Festival and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Film Section; academic activities such as the 2nd Golden Rooster Films Project Market; Commendation Ceremony of the 33rd China Golden Rooster Awards; and the 33rd China Golden Rooster Awards Red Carpet & Awarding Ceremony.
