To respond positively to the Maritime Community with Shared Future and the Belt and Road Initiative, the 2020 World Ocean Week in Xiamen will be held from November 20 to 26. Themed by "Ocean, Health and Sustainability: Opening a New Voyage for Blue Development", this event will highlight the construction of marine ecological civilization, the sustainable development of marine economy, and the integration of marine cooperation and exchanges, with activities centering on three major sectors. The Ocean Forum will focus on the development of marine economy, the construction of marine ecological civilization, the investment promotion of marine industry, the exchange and integration of marine culture, and the transformation and connection of marine technological achievements, so as to jointly seek the sustainable development of the ocean. There will be five major exhibitions at the Ocean Brand Exhibition to promote investment, boost the implementation of projects, and drive the upgrading of the marine industry. The Marine Culture Carnival will consist of a series of colorful activities.
