According to Hurun China Rich List 2020 published on October 20, there are 2,398 entrepreneurs in China whose personal wealth exceeds 2 billion yuan, which hits a record high with 579 people more than last year and an increase of 32% year-on-year. Hurun states that 2020 is the fastest year of wealth creation in history. Jack Ma has been China's richest man for the fourth time, and the average age of entrepreneurs on the list is 55. Manufacturing is still the industry with the most entrepreneurs on the list, and emerging industries, especially digital economy, officially usher in an explosion this year. In regard to the distribution of residential areas, Xiamen has 45 people on the list, an increase of 18 from last year, ranking 11th among the living cities of these entrepreneurs. Ding Shizhong from Anta continues his title of the richest man in Xiamen with 44.5 billion yuan, ranking 101st in Hurun China Rich List 2020, and his elder brother Ding Shijia ranks second in Xiamen with 43.5 billion yuan and 106th in the List. Father and son Lin Xiucheng and Lin Zhiqiang from San'an rank third in Xiamen and 173rd in the List with 28.5 billion yuan.
