By the end of August this year, Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone (XMTORCH) has achieved 220.796 billion yuan in revenue, of which the digital economy accounted for about 85%, with an overall scale of 187.677 billion yuan. Digital economy has become a symbol of XMTORCH in recent years. While the software and information service industry is booming, rapid development has also been seen in the manufacturing industries of flat panel display, computer and communications equipment, and integrated circuits in XMTORCH, making it a rare industrial park in China that covers the whole field of digital economy. High-energy projects of digital economy like Inspur and Tianma 6-Gen Flexible AMOLED production line project have continuously settled in XMTORCH. Since the beginning of this year, XMTORCH has boosted the implementation of new infrastructure applications, and laid out new formats for a new generation of information technology featuring artificial intelligence, big data, 5G, Internet of things, and industrial robots, etc.
