Themed by "Boosting Investment Confidence and Promoting Win-win Cooperation", the 2020 China International Fair of Investment and Trade (CIFIT) & Silk Road Investment Congress kicked off at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center on the morning of September 8. CIFIT of this year covers a total exhibition area of about 110,000 ㎡, with 16 professional exhibition areas set. Among them, 32 members participated in the China Investment Exhibition Area. In addition to the 400㎡ pavilion set up in the guest country, the Philippines, there are 42 countries and regions such as the UK, Germany, Japan and South Korea participating in the exhibition.
Under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the 2020 CIFIT, while controlling the scale of the site, joined hands with Alibaba Group to build a cloud platform and hold a "cloud CIFIT" online simultaneously, presenting five major investment promotion activities in an omni-directional manner, including cloud exhibition, project matchmaking, investment promotion negotiation, forum discussion, and cloud signing, to create a never-ending exhibition for 365 days. So far, more than 5,000 investment projects at home and abroad have been released.
The past twenty-odd years have witnessed the signing of over 30,000 projects in CIFIT, with nearly $380 billion entering the Chinese market from CIFIT. CIFIT has pushed a large number of Chinese enterprises to go global, blazing a forefront for promoting the formation of a new pattern for China's all-round opening up.
